A quick update to the blog about a Christmas present I bought for my daughter. It’s a DIY stem kit delivered monthly that you build and play with, produced by a company named KiwiCo. I must say I’m impressed by these crates, they offer quality stem projects that you build and learn from, while being safe and designed for young kids in mind. The materials usually consist of MDF, cardboard, plastics, and cotton so they are safe for young ones to put together without adult supervision.
The crate we received this time was a My Body and Me project. It focuses on learning and identifying body parts such as heart, lungs, brain, liver, skeletal system, and cardiovascular system, etc. I already received the January crate which seems to be a claw machine and I’m assuming my kids will enjoy assembling it.
If you are interested in finding out more I suggest you check out the their site link. The price isn’t terrible as the subscription is around $20/month and they offer different crates for varying ages.
Note: Maybe a little later I will find some time to snap some pics of the crates. Sorry, I have a weird thing about posting pics of my kids online so I refrained from taking pictures while they were building and playing with the projects.
